MEETING MY MODEL:
At this stage I was open to using either a male or female model for my project. This would depend on the response I recieved from my post, as well as my model requirements, such as body shape and facial features.
-
Petite frame - My model would need to have a petite frame as my character will incorporate a boney/skeletal structure and facial features, as a result this would be easier to achieve and will look more realistic on a model with a small frame.
-
Small nose - I want the nose of my character to appear fairly flat and rounded, by doing so the smaller the models nose the more realistic this will look. Consequently, a larger nose will require more clay to build up the shape and therefore look out of proportation in relation to the rest of the sculpt.
CHLOE HATHERLEY
I had many responses to my advert, however, Chloe best match the model requirements as she has a petite frame (size 6) and small facial features, such as nose.
EYE SHAPE: Almond
EYE COLOUR: Brown
HAIR: Long, thick hair (will need to be wrapped for a bald cap)
FACE SHAPE: Oval
SMALL FACIAL FEATURES
PATCH TESTING:
I identified the potentially hazardous products during my make-up application to be: Acetone, IPA, Telesis, Prosaide. These were tested when first meeting my model and before the 48 hour time limit. Luckily my model showed no signs of reaction so the products were safe to use.
SKIN TYPE: Normal (Therefore, no specialised cleansers or moisturisers required)
It was important for me to take photographs of my model from all angles so that I could examine her features in relation to the make-up and produce accurate technical designs of my character.
